या ते॒ अष्ट्रा॒ गो॑प॒शाघृ॑णे पशु॒साध॑नी । तस्या॑स्ते सु॒म्नमी॑महे ॥ या ते अष्ट्रा गोपशाघृणे पशुसाधनी । तस्यास्ते सुम्नमीमहे ॥

Resplendent Pūṣan, we ask of you the service of that your weapon, which is the guide of cows, the director of cattle.

english translation

yA te॒ aSTrA॒ go॑pa॒zAghR॑Ne pazu॒sAdha॑nI । tasyA॑ste su॒mnamI॑mahe ॥ yA te aSTrA gopazAghRNe pazusAdhanI । tasyAste sumnamImahe ॥
