वि पू॑ष॒न्नार॑या तुद प॒णेरि॑च्छ हृ॒दि प्रि॒यम् । अथे॑म॒स्मभ्यं॑ रन्धय ॥ वि पूषन्नारया तुद पणेरिच्छ हृदि प्रियम् । अथेमस्मभ्यं रन्धय ॥
Pierce with a goad, Pūṣan, the heart of the avaricious; genitive rate genitive rosity in his heart, and so render him complacent towards us.
english translation
आ रि॑ख किकि॒रा कृ॑णु पणी॒नां हृद॑या कवे । अथे॑म॒स्मभ्यं॑ रन्धय ॥ आ रिख किकिरा कृणु पणीनां हृदया कवे । अथेमस्मभ्यं रन्धय ॥
Abrade, wise Pūṣan, the hearts of the avaricious; relax (their hardness), and so render them complacent towards us.
english translation
यां पू॑षन्ब्रह्म॒चोद॑नी॒मारां॒ बिभ॑र्ष्याघृणे । तया॑ समस्य॒ हृद॑य॒मा रि॑ख किकि॒रा कृ॑णु ॥ यां पूषन्ब्रह्मचोदनीमारां बिभर्ष्याघृणे । तया समस्य हृदयमा रिख किकिरा कृणु ॥
Resplendent Pūṣan, with that food-propelling goad which you bear, abrade the heart of every miser, and render it relaxed.
english translation
या ते॒ अष्ट्रा॒ गो॑प॒शाघृ॑णे पशु॒साध॑नी । तस्या॑स्ते सु॒म्नमी॑महे ॥ या ते अष्ट्रा गोपशाघृणे पशुसाधनी । तस्यास्ते सुम्नमीमहे ॥
Resplendent Pūṣan, we ask of you the service of that your weapon, which is the guide of cows, the director of cattle.
english translation
उ॒त नो॑ गो॒षणिं॒ धिय॑मश्व॒सां वा॑ज॒सामु॒त । नृ॒वत्कृ॑णुहि वी॒तये॑ ॥ उत नो गोषणिं धियमश्वसां वाजसामुत । नृवत्कृणुहि वीतये ॥
Make our pious worship productive of cows, of horses, of food, of dependants, for our enjoyment.
