आ न॑पातः शवसो यात॒नोपे॒मं य॒ज्ञं नम॑सा हू॒यमा॑नाः । स॒जोष॑सः सूरयो॒ यस्य॑ च॒ स्थ मध्व॑: पात रत्न॒धा इन्द्र॑वन्तः ॥ आ नपातः शवसो यातनोपेमं यज्ञं नमसा हूयमानाः । सजोषसः सूरयो यस्य च स्थ मध्वः पात रत्नधा इन्द्रवन्तः ॥

sanskrit

Sons of strength, come to this sacrifice, invoked with veneration; givers of precious things, associated with Indra, with whom you are intelligent, participate in being gratified (by the libation), drink ofthe sweet Soma juice.

english translation

A na॑pAtaH zavaso yAta॒nope॒maM ya॒jJaM nama॑sA hU॒yamA॑nAH | sa॒joSa॑saH sUrayo॒ yasya॑ ca॒ stha madhva॑: pAta ratna॒dhA indra॑vantaH || A napAtaH zavaso yAtanopemaM yajJaM namasA hUyamAnAH | sajoSasaH sUrayo yasya ca stha madhvaH pAta ratnadhA indravantaH ||

स॒जोषा॑ इन्द्र॒ वरु॑णेन॒ सोमं॑ स॒जोषा॑: पाहि गिर्वणो म॒रुद्भि॑: । अ॒ग्रे॒पाभि॑ॠतु॒पाभि॑: स॒जोषा॒ ग्नास्पत्नी॑भी रत्न॒धाभि॑: स॒जोषा॑: ॥ सजोषा इन्द्र वरुणेन सोमं सजोषाः पाहि गिर्वणो मरुद्भिः । अग्रेपाभिॠतुपाभिः सजोषा ग्नास्पत्नीभी रत्नधाभिः सजोषाः ॥

sanskrit

Sympathizing in satisfaction with Varuṇa, drink, Indra, the Soma juice; drink it, you who are entitled to praise, sympathizing with the Maruts; drink, sympathizing with the first drinkers, with the drinkers (at the sacriices) of the Ṛtus; sympathizing with the protectresses of the wives (of the gods), the giver of wealth.

स॒जोष॑स आदि॒त्यैर्मा॑दयध्वं स॒जोष॑स ऋभव॒: पर्व॑तेभिः । स॒जोष॑सो॒ दैव्ये॑ना सवि॒त्रा स॒जोष॑स॒: सिन्धु॑भी रत्न॒धेभि॑: ॥ सजोषस आदित्यैर्मादयध्वं सजोषस ऋभवः पर्वतेभिः । सजोषसो दैव्येना सवित्रा सजोषसः सिन्धुभी रत्नधेभिः ॥

Ṛbhus, be exhilarated, sympathizing with the Ādityas, sympathizing with the Parvatas, sympathizing with the divine Savitā, sympathizing with the wealth-bestowing (deities of the) rivers.

ये अ॒श्विना॒ ये पि॒तरा॒ य ऊ॒ती धे॒नुं त॑त॒क्षुॠ॒भवो॒ ये अश्वा॑ । ये अंस॑त्रा॒ य ऋध॒ग्रोद॑सी॒ ये विभ्वो॒ नर॑: स्वप॒त्यानि॑ च॒क्रुः ॥ ये अश्विना ये पितरा य ऊती धेनुं ततक्षुॠभवो ये अश्वा । ये अंसत्रा य ऋधग्रोदसी ये विभ्वो नरः स्वपत्यानि चक्रुः ॥

Ṛbhus, who by your assistance (gratiied) the Aśvins, who (renovated your) parents, who (restored) the cow, who fabricated the horses, who made armour (for the gods), who separated earth and heaven, and who, the all-pervading leaders (of rites), accomplished (acts productive of) good results.

ye a॒zvinA॒ ye pi॒tarA॒ ya U॒tI dhe॒nuM ta॑ta॒kSuRR॒bhavo॒ ye azvA॑ | ye aMsa॑trA॒ ya Rdha॒groda॑sI॒ ye vibhvo॒ nara॑: svapa॒tyAni॑ ca॒kruH || ye azvinA ye pitarA ya UtI dhenuM tatakSuRRbhavo ye azvA | ye aMsatrA ya RdhagrodasI ye vibhvo naraH svapatyAni cakruH ||

ये गोम॑न्तं॒ वाज॑वन्तं सु॒वीरं॑ र॒यिं ध॒त्थ वसु॑मन्तं पुरु॒क्षुम् । ते अ॑ग्रे॒पा ऋ॑भवो मन्दसा॒ना अ॒स्मे ध॑त्त॒ ये च॑ रा॒तिं गृ॒णन्ति॑ ॥ ये गोमन्तं वाजवन्तं सुवीरं रयिं धत्थ वसुमन्तं पुरुक्षुम् । ते अग्रेपा ऋभवो मन्दसाना अस्मे धत्त ये च रातिं गृणन्ति ॥

Ṛbhus, who posses wealth, comprising cattle, food, progeny, dwellings, and abundant sustenance, do you, who are the first drinkers (of the Soma), bestow upon us, when exhilarated, (that wealth and upon those) who laud your liberality.
