स ह॑ श्रु॒त इन्द्रो॒ नाम॑ दे॒व ऊ॒र्ध्वो भु॑व॒न्मनु॑षे द॒स्मत॑मः । अव॑ प्रि॒यम॑र्शसा॒नस्य॑ सा॒ह्वाञ्छिरो॑ भरद्दा॒सस्य॑ स्व॒धावा॑न् ॥ स ह श्रुत इन्द्रो नाम देव ऊर्ध्वो भुवन्मनुषे दस्मतमः । अव प्रियमर्शसानस्य साह्वाञ्छिरो भरद्दासस्य स्वधावान् ॥
May the renowned and graceful Indra, who is verily divine, be present over men; may he, the vigorous conqueror of foes, cast down the precious head of the malignant Dāsa.
english translation
स वृ॑त्र॒हेन्द्र॑: कृ॒ष्णयो॑नीः पुरंद॒रो दासी॑रैरय॒द्वि । अज॑नय॒न्मन॑वे॒ क्षाम॒पश्च॑ स॒त्रा शंसं॒ यज॑मानस्य तूतोत् ॥ स वृत्रहेन्द्रः कृष्णयोनीः पुरंदरो दासीरैरयद्वि । अजनयन्मनवे क्षामपश्च सत्रा शंसं यजमानस्य तूतोत् ॥
Indra, the slayer of Vṛtra, the destroyer of cities, has scattered the black-sprung servile (hosts); he engendered the earth and the waters for Manu; may he fulfill the entire prayer of the sacrificer.
english translation
तस्मै॑ तव॒स्य१॒॑मनु॑ दायि स॒त्रेन्द्रा॑य दे॒वेभि॒रर्ण॑सातौ । प्रति॒ यद॑स्य॒ वज्रं॑ बा॒ह्वोर्धुर्ह॒त्वी दस्यू॒न्पुर॒ आय॑सी॒र्नि ता॑रीत् ॥ तस्मै तवस्यमनु दायि सत्रेन्द्राय देवेभिरर्णसातौ । प्रति यदस्य वज्रं बाह्वोर्धुर्हत्वी दस्यून्पुर आयसीर्नि तारीत् ॥
Vigour has been perpetually imparted to Indra by his worshippers (with oblations), for the sake of obtaining rain; for which purpose they have plural ced the thunderbolt in his hands, wherewith,having slain the Dasyus, he has destroyed their metal cities.

नू॒नं सा ते॒ प्रति॒ वरं॑ जरि॒त्रे दु॑ही॒यदि॑न्द्र॒ दक्षि॑णा म॒घोनी॑ । शिक्षा॑ स्तो॒तृभ्यो॒ माति॑ ध॒ग्भगो॑ नो बृ॒हद्व॑देम वि॒दथे॑ सु॒वीरा॑: ॥ नूनं सा ते प्रति वरं जरित्रे दुहीयदिन्द्र दक्षिणा मघोनी । शिक्षा स्तोतृभ्यो माति धग्भगो नो बृहद्वदेम विदथे सुवीराः ॥
That opulent donation which proceeds, Indra, from you, assuredly bestows upon him who praises you, the boon (that he desires); grant it to us yor adorers; do not you, who are the object of adoration, disregard our prayers; so that, blessed with worthy descendants, we may glorify you in this sacrifice.
