Phaladeepika
नीचारिस्थैर्भवभवनगैः पष्ठदुश्चिक्यगैर्वा सौम्यैः स्वोच्चं परमुपगतैर्निर्मलैः केन्द्रगैर्वा । आज्ञां यते शिशिरकिरणे कर्कटस्थे विशाया मेकच्छत्रं त्रिभुवनमिदं यस्य स क्षत्रियेशः ॥ १६॥
If there be a birth at night when benefics are in depression or inimical houses identical with the 11 th, the 6 th or the 3 rd house, or be in their highest exaltation, or be all posited in the Kendras, with bright rays, and if the Moon be in Karkataka identical with the 10 th house, the person born will become an emperor ruling the three worlds under one umbrella.

nIcAristhairbhavabhavanagaiH paSThaduzcikyagairvA saumyaiH svoccaM paramupagatairnirmalaiH kendragairvA । AjJAM yate zizirakiraNe karkaTasthe vizAyA mekacchatraM tribhuvanamidaM yasya sa kSatriyezaH ॥ 16॥
