Phaladeepika
क्रमेण भाग्योदयमर्थहातिं जयं श्लोकमरोगतां च । सुखान्यनिष्टं गदमिष्टसिद्धिं मोदं व्ययं च प्रददाति चन्द्रः ॥ १२॥
The Moon in her travels through the 12 houses counted from the Janmarasi will give the following respective effects: (1) dawning of fortune (2) loss of wealth (3) success (4) fear (5) sorrow (6) freedom from disease (7) happiness (8) untoward events (9) sickness (10) attainment of one's cherished wishes (11) joy and ( 12 ) expenditure.
