तत्तद्ग्रहाधिष्ठितसर्वराशीं- स्तत्संज्ञितं लग्नमिति प्रकल्प्य । तेभ्यः फलान्यष्टविधान्यभूवं- स्तत्तद्गृहाद्भा ववशाद्वदन्तु ॥ १२॥

Treating the several Rasis occupied by the planets,at the time of birth as their respective starting points (Lagnas), benefic dots should be computed in 8 ways due to the countings by houses from each of the seven planets and the Lagna, and effects predicted for the several Bhavas counted from that planet through the dots contained in them.

tattadgrahAdhiSThitasarvarAzIM- statsaMjJitaM lagnamiti prakalpya । tebhyaH phalAnyaSTavidhAnyabhUvaM- stattadgRhAdbhA vavazAdvadantu ॥ 12॥
