पाकेशाब्दहता दशेश्वरसमा नेत्राङ्कभक्ताः समाः शिष्ट रूपहता नराङ्कविहृता मासा नगैर्वासराः । छिद्रादिष्वपि चैवमेव कलयेत्पाकक्रमाच्चेद्दशा- नाथाद्या पुनरन्तरान्तरदशास्तत्पाकनाथक्रमाः ॥ २॥
Multiply the years of a Mahadasa by the years of the planet whose Antardasa is required. Divide the product by 120. The quotient will represent the years of the Antardasa. Multiply the remainder by 12 and divide the result by 120. The quotient will repre 'sent the months-multiply the remainder by 30 and divide by 120. The quotient will give the days, and so on The same process should be adopted for calculating the sub-periods in an Antardasa, or their further sub-divisions. In anv Dasa, the order of the Bhuktis is similar to that in the Dasas the first Bhukti commencing with that of its lord.
