मन्दमान्द्यगुखरेशरन्ध्रपाः- तन्नवांशपतयोऽपि ये ग्रहाः । तेषु दुर्बलदशा मृतिप्रदा कष्टभे चरति सूर्यनन्दने ॥ ३१॥
Out of the planets Saturn, Mandi, Rahu, the lord of the 22 nd decanate and the lord of the 8 th house and the lords of the Navamsa Rasis occupied by these planets, find which is the weakest. It is only the Dasa of that planet that will prove fatal, and the demise will happen (occur) when Saturn during his transit passes through an untoward house (viz., 6 th, 8 th or 12 th).

mandamAndyagukharezarandhrapAH- tannavAMzapatayo'pi ye grahAH । teSu durbaladazA mRtipradA kaSTabhe carati sUryanandane ॥ 31॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptमृतीशनाथस्थितभांशकेशयोः खरत्रिभागेश्वरयोर्बलीयसः । दशागमे मृत्युयुक्तभांशक- त्रिकोणगे देवगुरौ तनुक्षयः ॥ ३२॥
Out of the two sets of planets, viz, (1) the lord of the house occupied by the lord of the 8 th house, and the lord of the Navamsa occupied by the lord of the 8 th house and (2) the lord of the 22 nd decanate and the lord of the rising decanate, find which planet in each pair is stronger. When the Dasa of this stronger planet is in progress, and when Jupiter during his transit passes through the Rasi and Navamsa occupied by the lord of the 8 th house or its triangular position, the death of the person concerned may come to pass.

hk transliteration by Sanscriptचतुष्टयस्था गुरुजन्मलग्नपा भवन्ति मध्ये वयसः सुखप्रदाः । क्रमेण पृष्ठोभयमस्तकोदय- स्थितोऽन्त्यमध्यप्रथमेषु पाकदः ॥ ३३॥
If Jupiter, the lord of the house occupied by the Moon and the ruler of the Lagna, be in Kendras at a birth, the middle portion of the life is good Planets in Prishtodaya signs give good results in the end; those in Ubhayodaya signs, in the mid" dle; and those in the Sirshodaya signs, in the beginning.

catuSTayasthA gurujanmalagnapA bhavanti madhye vayasaH sukhapradAH । krameNa pRSThobhayamastakodaya- sthito'ntyamadhyaprathameSu pAkadaH ॥ 33॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptयद्भावगो गोचरतो विलग्नात्- दशेश्वरः स्वोच्चसुहृद्गृहस्थः । तद्भावपुष्टिं कुरुते तदानीं बलान्वितश्चेज्जननेऽपि तस्य ॥ ३४॥
When a planet whose Dasa is in progress happens to pass through in transit) his Swakshetra, exaltation or a friendly house, he will promote the prosperity of the Bhava it represents when counted from the Lagna, provided the said planet is endowed with full strength at the birth time as well.

yadbhAvago gocarato vilagnAt- dazezvaraH svoccasuhRdgRhasthaH । tadbhAvapuSTiM kurute tadAnIM balAnvitazcejjanane'pi tasya ॥ 34॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptबलोनितो जन्मनि पाकनाथो मौढ्यं स्वनीचं रिपुमन्दिरं वा । प्राप्तश्च यद्भावमुपैति चारात्- तद्भावनाशं कुरुते तदानीम् ॥ ३५॥
When a planet whose Dasa is in progress be weak, eclipsed by the Sun's rays, in depression or inimical house at birth, he will during his transit through any house cause the total destruction of that Bhava.
