Phaladeepika
ऊर्ध्वास्यतुङ्गभवनस्थितभूमिजस्य कर्मायगस्य हि दशा विदधाति राज्यम् । जित्वा रिपून्विपुलवाहनसैन्ययुक्तां राज्यश्रियं वितनुतेऽधिकमन्नदानम् ॥ २५॥
If Mars bo posited in an Urdhvamukha Rasi (vide 18 supra), or the exaltation sign idontical with the 10 th or the 11 th house, his Dasaperiod will secure to the native concerned a kingdom. After subduing his enemies, he will become a renowned king endowed with a large number of vehicles and a huge army and he will feed many people.
