Phaladeepika
स्फुटे विलग्ननाथस्य विशोध्य यमकण्टकम् । तद्राशिनवभागस्थे जीवे मृत्युर्न संशयः ॥ १४॥
Subtract the figures of Yamakantaka from those of the lord of the rising sign and find out the Rasi and its Navamsa indicated by the difference. When Jupiter comes to occupy this Navamsa in the Rasi thus found, death will take place without doubt.

sphuTe vilagnanAthasya vizodhya yamakaNTakam । tadrAzinavabhAgasthe jIve mRtyurna saMzayaH ॥ 14॥
