शशिलग्नसमायुक्तैः फलं त्रिंशांशकैरिदम् । बलाबलविकल्पेन तयोरेवं विचिन्तयेत् ॥ ८॥
The effects described above as due to the Trimsamsa or degree are occnpied by the Moon at birth or those mentioned for the Trimsamsa rising at the time will come to pass according as the one Trimsamsa or the other is stronger.

zazilagnasamAyuktaiH phalaM triMzAMzakairidam । balAbalavikalpena tayorevaM vicintayet ॥ 8॥
