Phaladeepika
लग्नात्कलत्रभवने समराशिसंज्ञे भावाधिपेऽपि च तथैव गतेऽसुरेड्ये । सूर्याभितप्तरहिते सुतदारनाथे वीर्यन्विते तु जननं ससुतं कलत्रम् ॥ ९॥
When the 7 th house is an even sign and if the lord of that house and Venus be also similarly situated (that is, in an even sign) and if the lords of the 5 th and 7 th houses posessing strength are not overpowered by the Sun's rays, the person concerned will certainly be blessed with wife and children.

lagnAtkalatrabhavane samarAzisaMjJe bhAvAdhipe'pi ca tathaiva gate'sureDye । sUryAbhitaptarahite sutadAranAthe vIryanvite tu jananaM sasutaM kalatram ॥ 9॥
