शतं सहस्रं लक्षं च करेणैकेन योजयेत् । क्षिप्रमुक्ताङ्गुलीभिस्तु स्फुलिङ्गान् विप्रुषस्तथा ॥ १२६॥
By this hand are to be indicated hundred, thousand and lac of gold coins, and when the fingers in it are suddenly made to move freely it will represent sparks or drops.

zataM sahasraM lakSaM ca kareNaikena yojayet | kSipramuktAGgulIbhistu sphuliGgAn vipruSastathA || 126||
hk transliteration by Sanscriptअसंयुताः करा ह्येते मया प्रोक्ता द्विजोत्तमाः । अतश्च संयुतान् हस्तान् गदतो मे निबोधत ॥ १२७॥
O the best of Brahmins, these are the single hands described by me. Now hear about the combined hands which I am going to describe.

Añjali—Putting together of the two Patāka hands is called Añjali. (Uses): It is used to greet gods, venerable persons (guru) and friend.
english translation
patAkAbhyAM tu hastAbhyAM saMzleSAdaJjaliH smRtaH | devatAnAM gurUNAM ca mitrANAM cAbhivAdane || 128||
hk transliteration by Sanscriptस्थानान्यस्य पुनस्त्रीणि वक्षो वक्त्रं शिरस्तथा । देवतानां शिरःस्थस्तु गुरूणामास्यसंस्थितः । वक्षस्थश्चैव मित्राणां स्त्रीणां त्वनियतो भवेत् ॥ १२९॥
In greeting gods it is to be held on the head, in case of venerable persons like father, teacher etc. it is to be held near one’s face, and for greeting the friends it is to be placed on the chest and in case of the remaining persons there is no fixed rule.

sthAnAnyasya punastrINi vakSo vaktraM zirastathA | devatAnAM ziraHsthastu gurUNAmAsyasaMsthitaH | vakSasthazcaiva mitrANAM strINAM tvaniyato bhavet || 129||
hk transliteration by Sanscriptउभाभ्यामपि हस्ताभ्यामन्योऽन्यं पार्श्वसंग्रहात् । हस्तः कपोतको नाम कर्म चास्य निबोधत ॥ १३०॥
Kapota (pigeon)—Two (Añjali) hands meeting on one of their sides will make the Kapota hand. Listen about its uses.
