व्याजाच्चैवापराधाच्च वित्रासितकमेव च । पुनर्भयानकञ्चैव विद्यात् त्रिविधमेव हि ॥ ६॥
The Terrible Sentiment is also of three kinds, viz feigned fear, fear from a wrong action, and fear from an apprehension of danger.
english translation
बीभत्सः क्षोभजः शुद्ध उद्वेगी स्यात् द्वितीयकः । विष्ठाकृमिभिरुद्वेगी क्षोभजो रुधिरादिअजः ॥ ७॥
The Odious Sentiment is of three kind, viz, nauseating, simple, and exciting. Of these, the Sentiment from a sight of stool and worms is nauseating, and the sight of blood and similar objects is exciting.
english translation
दिव्यश्चानन्दजश्चैव द्विधा ख्यातोऽद्भुतो रसः । दिव्यदर्शनजो दिव्यो हर्षादानदजः स्मृतः ॥ ८॥
The Marvellous Sentiment is of two kinds, viz. celestial and joyous. Of these the celestial is due to seeing heavenly sights, and the joys due to joyful happenings.
