आधिश्चोपनिधिश्चोभौ न कालात्ययमर्हतः । अवहार्यौ भवेतां तौ दीर्घकालमवस्थितौ ॥ १४५ ॥

Neither a pledge nor a deposit can be lost by lapse of time; they are both recoverable, though they have remained long (with the bailee).

english translation

Adhizcopanidhizcobhau na kAlAtyayamarhataH | avahAryau bhavetAM tau dIrghakAlamavasthitau || 145 ||
