Manusmriti
गृहस्थस्तु यथा पश्येद् वलीपलितमात्मनः । अपत्यस्यैव चापत्यं तदाऽरण्यं समाश्रयेत् ॥ २ ॥
When a householder sees his (skin) wrinkled, and (his hair) white, and. the sons of his sons, then he may resort to the forest.
english translation
gRhasthastu yathA pazyed valIpalitamAtmanaH । apatyasyaiva cApatyaM tadA'raNyaM samAzrayet ॥ 2 ॥
