ऊर्ध्वं नाभेर्यानि खानि तानि मेध्यानि सर्वशः । यान्यधस्तान्यमेध्यानि देहाच्चैव मलाश्च्युताः ॥ १३२ ॥

sanskrit

All those cavities (of the body) which lie above the navel are pure, (but) those which are below the navel are impure, as well as excretions that fall from the body.

english translation

UrdhvaM nAbheryAni khAni tAni medhyAni sarvazaH | yAnyadhastAnyamedhyAni dehAccaiva malAzcyutAH || 132 ||
