ब्राह्मादिषु विवाहेषु चतुर्ष्वेवानुपूर्वशः । ब्रह्मवर्चस्विनः पुत्रा जायन्ते शिष्टसम्मताः ॥ ३९ ॥

From the four marriages, (enumerated) successively, which begin with the Brahma rite spring sons, radiant with knowledge of the Veda and honoured by the Sishtas (good men).

english translation

brAhmAdiSu vivAheSu caturSvevAnupUrvazaH । brahmavarcasvinaH putrA jAyante ziSTasammatAH ॥ 39 ॥
