वैशंपायन उवाच वनवासाय चक्रुस ते मतिं पार्थाः पराजिताः अजिनान्य उत्तरीयाणि जगृहुश च यथाक्रमम ॥ २-६८-१ ॥
'Vaisampayana said,--"Then the vanquished sons of Pritha prepared for their exile into the woods. And they, one after another, in due order, casting off their royal robes, attired themselves in deer-skins."' ॥ 2-68-1 ॥

vaizaMpAyana uvAca vanavAsAya cakrusa te matiM pArthAH parAjitAH ajinAnya uttarIyANi jagRhuza ca yathAkramama ॥ 2-68-1 ॥
