एवं बहुविधान देशान विजित्य पुरुषर्षभः उन्नाटम अभितॊ जिग्ये कुक्षिमन्तं च पर्वतम पाण्डवः सुमहावीर्यॊ बलेन बलिनां वरः ।। २-२७-५ ।।

sanskrit

'Thus, the foremost of the Bharata race subdued various countries. Endowed with immense energy and unparalleled strength, the son of Pandu conquered the land of Bhallata and the adjacent mountain of Kukshimanta next. The Pandava, renowned for his great valor and strength, was the foremost among the mighty.' ।। 2-27-5 ।।

english translation

evaM bahuvidhAna dezAna vijitya puruSarSabhaH unnATama abhitò jigye kukSimantaM ca parvatama pANDavaH sumahAvIryò balena balinAM varaH || 2-27-5 ||
