य आद्यो भगवान् पुंसामीश्वरो वै भवान् किल। लोकस्य तमसान्धस्य चक्षुः सूर्य इवोदितः॥1.3॥

Indeed, Thou art the Lord of all Beings, verily the lord who is the origin of the word, born like the sun, the eye of the beings blinded by the darkness of ignorance.

english translation

ya Adyo bhagavAn puMsAmIzvaro vai bhavAn kila। lokasya tamasAndhasya cakSuH sUrya ivoditaH॥1.3॥
