पक्वाशयशिरःशूलं वातवर्चोऽप्रवर्तनम् । पिण्डिsकोद्वेष्टनाध्मानं पुरीषे स्याद्विधारिते ॥८॥

[2. Diseases due to suppression of urge to defecate and its treatment] Suppression of the urge to defecate causes colic pain, headache, retention of fecal matter and flatus, cramps in the calf muscles and distension of abdomen.
