दाहज्वरापहंस्पर्शात्पानाद्वातकफापहम्। विबन्धघ्नमवस्रंसिदीपनंचाम्लकाञ्जिकम् ॥१९२॥
The sour-congee wine, when topically applied, is effective in treating burning sensation and fever. In the form of potion, it is very effective in treating vata, kapha and constipation (it is a laxative and digestive stimulant).
