शूलेऽरुचौविबन्धेचमन्देऽग्नौमद्यविप्लवे । हिक्काश्वासेचकासेचवम्यांवर्चोगदेषुच ॥१५३॥
The filament of the citron flower/matulunga (Citrus medica Linn.) is indicated in intestinal colic, anorexia, constipation, weak digestive fire, chronic alcoholism, hiccups, dyspnea, cough, vomiting, disorders of stools and in all diseases born of vata and kapha.
