वातपित्तकफा यस्य युगपत् कुपितास्त्रयः। जिह्वामूलेऽवतिष्ठन्ते विदहन्तः समुच्छ्रिताः ॥३४॥

॥ Rohini (diphtheria)॥ When all the three doshas get aggravated simultaneously and inhabit the base of the tongue, they cause severe burning sensation, acute/intense swelling and various types of pain.

english translation

vAtapittakaphA yasya yugapat kupitAstrayaH। jihvAmUle'vatiSThante vidahantaH samucchritAH ॥34॥
