तनु रूक्षारुणं श्यावं फेनिलं वातविद्रधी। तिलमाषकुलत्थोदसन्निभं पित्तविद्रधी ॥९९॥

॥ Pus discharge according to type of abscess॥ 1. In vata type of abscess, the discharge is thin, ununctuous, dusky-red and frothy. 2. In pitta type of abscess, the discharge resembles decocted water of sesame, black-gram or horse-gram.

english translation

tanu rUkSAruNaM zyAvaM phenilaM vAtavidradhI। tilamASakulatthodasannibhaM pittavidradhI ॥99॥
