Charak Samhita
धीतीकां तु करीषाणां यथोक्तानां प्रदीपयेत्। शयनान्तःप्रमाणेन शय्यामुपरि तत्र च ॥६१॥
॥ Holaka sweda (sudation using a heap of dung)॥ A heap of dung (of similar description as above) of the size of a bed is ignited. After it is completely burnt and becomes smokeless, a bed covered with a thin sheet is kept over it.
