स्नेहनं शोधनं चैव द्विविधं नावनं स्मृतम्। शोधनः स्तम्भनश्च स्यादवपीडो द्विधा मतः ॥९०॥
Navana (unctuous errhines) is of two types viz, snehana (oleating) and shodhana (purificatory). Avapida (Expressed errhine) is of two types-shodhana (purificatory) and stambhana (astringent).
