वमितं लङ्घयेत् सम्यग्जीर्णलिङ्गान्यलक्षयन्। तानि दृष्ट्वा तु पेयादिक्रमं कुर्यान्न लङ्घनम्॥२३॥
He need to undergo fasting till the signs of proper digestion of drugs for vamana is seen. For one having those signs, peyadi kramam (regulatory diet regimen) has to be initiated. He should not undergo further langhana (fasting).
