अल्पमात्रं महावेगं बहुदोषहरं सुखम्। लघुपाकं सुखास्वादं प्रीणनं व्याधिनाशनम्॥१५॥
॥ Characteristics of appropriate dosage of medicine॥ The following properties are characteristic to the appropriate dosage of medicines prescribed for purification: • It should work optimally in small dosage • It must have quick action • It must eliminate large amounts of dosha • It should bring in comfort • It should be easily digestible
