समीरणं वेगविधारणोद्धतं विबन्धसर्वाङ्गरुजाकरं भिषक्। समीक्ष्य तेषां फलवर्तिमादितः सुकल्पितां स्नेहवतीं प्रयोजयेत्॥३१॥
Because of the suppression of natural urges, vata dosha gets aggravated and cause constipation and pain all over the body. The physician, having ascertained this, in the beginning should give phala-varti (medicated suppository) well prepared with unctuous material.
