हृल्लासमोहक्लमसादमूर्च्छाविकर्तिका चात्यनुवासितस्य। यस्येह यामाननुवर्तते त्रीन् स्नेहो नरः स्यात् स विशुद्धदेहः॥४६॥
[Signs of excess administration of unctuous enema] Whereas excessively administered unctuous enema causes nausea, unconsciousness, mental fatigue, exhaustion, fainting and griping pain. [Duration of retaining unctuous enema] If unctuous enema is retained for three yama (nine hours) then the body of the person gets cleansed of morbid matter.
