नरस्ततो निश्यनुवासनार्हो नात्याशितः स्यादनुवासनीयः । शीते वसन्ते च दिवाऽनुवास्यो रात्रौ शरद्ग्रीष्मघनागमेषु॥२२॥
Then the person should be given unctuous enema if he has not taken heavy meal, the night before and if he is fit for the same. [Time of anuvasana (unctuous enema)] In the winter and spring seasons, unctuous enema should be given during the day time. In autumn, summer and rainy seasons, it should be administered during the night time.
