Charak Samhita
शीताम्बुना पीतवतश्च तस्य सिञ्चेन्मुखं छर्दिविघातहेतोः । हृद्यांश्च मृत्पुष्पफलप्रवालानम्लं च दद्यादुपजिघ्रणार्थम् ॥७६॥
If a person develops vomiting sensation after consuming a purgative drug, cool water may be sprinkled over his face. He can be advised to inhale pleasing aromas or fragrances originating from earth, flowers, fruits, tender leaves and sour substances, which control the same.
