Charak Samhita
साधयेद्विधिवल्लेहं लिह्यात् पाणितलं ततः । सक्षौद्रां शर्करां पक्त्वा कुर्यान्मृद्भाजने नवे ॥२४॥
In a dose of one panitala this linctus can be taken in (for purgation). ॥ Preparation of Trivrita in the form of linctus (No. 4)॥ Sugar and honey are mixed well and boiled (till the sugar is completely dissolved) in a new earthen vessel.
english translation
sAdhayedvidhivallehaM lihyAt pANitalaM tataH । sakSaudrAM zarkarAM paktvA kuryAnmRdbhAjane nave ॥24॥
