Charak Samhita
सर्पिषा वा तयोश्चूर्णमभयार्धांशिकं पिबेत् । लिह्याद्वा मधुसर्पिर्भ्यां संयुक्तं ससितोपलम् ॥२१॥
Fruit juice of Kashmarya (Gambhari), Fruit juice of Draksha (grapes), Fruit Juice of Pilu, or Ghee, for purgation. ॥ Preparation of Trivrita in the form of Linctus (No. 1)॥ (Powered root of Trivrita may be) added with honey and ghee (to form a linctus). Then, crudely powdered sugar candy is added to it (and taken in for purgation)
