सुस्निग्धं क्रूरकोष्ठं च लङ्घयेदविरेचितम्। तेनास्य स्नेहजः श्लेष्मा सङ्गश्चैवोपशाम्यति॥७८॥
If inadequate purgation occurs in the krura koshtha persons even after proper snehapana, for them langhana is advised. This will remove the morbid kapha and the obstruction caused by sneha.
