द्रव्येषु स्विन्नजग्धेषु चैव तेष्वेव विक्रिया । तस्माद्दोषौषधादीनि परीक्ष्य दशतत्वतः ॥३२६॥
It is said that the stool of fly is having anti-emetic property but if someone consumes the fly,it will induces vomiting. Food substances if boiled or baked may get changed in their properties. Thus it’s important for a vaidya, that he should not depend only on the properties of the yoga (formulation).
english translation
dravyeSu svinnajagdheSu caiva teSveva vikriyA । tasmAddoSauSadhAdIni parIkSya dazatatvataH ॥326॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptकुर्याच्चिकित्सितं प्राज्ञो न योगैरेव केवलम् । निवृत्तोऽपि पुनर्व्याधिः स्वल्पेनायाति हेतुना ॥३२७॥
He must consider all the ten factors discussed earlier along with different types of factors, their classification and some exceptional rules while treating the disorders. As a small sparkle of fire flares up when it comes in contact with wind or wood and gets converted into huge flames of fire.

kuryAccikitsitaM prAjJo na yogaireva kevalam । nivRtto'pi punarvyAdhiH svalpenAyAti hetunA ॥327॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptक्षीणे मार्गीकृते देहे शेषः सूक्ष्म इवानलः । तस्मात्तमनुबध्नीयात् प्रयोगेणानपायिना ॥३२८॥
Similarly in a weak body in which previously a disease pathology had occurred and it has just recovered from the disease, whenever it gets chance, the disease may again relapse the body.

kSINe mArgIkRte dehe zeSaH sUkSma ivAnalaH । tasmAttamanubadhnIyAt prayogeNAnapAyinA ॥328॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptसिद्ध्यर्थं प्राक्प्रयुक्तस्य सिद्धस्याप्यौषधस्य तु । काठिन्यादूनभावाद्वा दोषोऽन्तः कुपितो महान् ॥३२९॥
Hence for the better results of the medicines administered, pathya (wholesome diet) must be followed even after the disease symptoms are completely disappeared.

siddhyarthaM prAkprayuktasya siddhasyApyauSadhasya tu । kAThinyAdUnabhAvAdvA doSo'ntaH kupito mahAn ॥329॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptपथ्यैर्मृद्वल्पतां नीतो मृदुदोषकरो भवेत् । पथ्यमप्यश्नतस्तस्माद्यो व्याधिरुपजायते ॥३३०॥
If strong or weak medicament has vitiated the dosha internally, they can be pacified by following wholesome diet. If disease status aggravates even if wholesome diet is followed,then the diet pattern should be changed which may help to inhibit the progression of disease.

pathyairmRdvalpatAM nIto mRdudoSakaro bhavet । pathyamapyaznatastasmAdyo vyAdhirupajAyate ॥330॥
