स शीघ्रं शीघ्रकारित्वात् प्रशमं याति हन्ति वा। कालदूष्यप्रकृतिभिर्दोषस्तुल्यो हि सन्ततम् ॥५५॥
The dosha involved in the manifestation of santata jwara is in accordance with season (kala), vitiated factors (dushya), and the physical constitution of the patient (prakriti) due to which it is nispratyanika (having no opponent / which cannot be inhibited).
