स्रोतांसि रुद्ध्वा सम्प्राप्ताः केवलं देहमुल्बणाः। सन्तापमधिकं देहे जनयन्ति नरस्तदा ॥१३१॥

It then pervades the entire body to produce excessive heat. Therefore, the temperature increases all over the body and this condition is called jwara.

english translation

भवत्यत्युष्णसर्वाङ्गो ज्वरितस्तेन चोच्यते। स्रोतसां सन्निरुद्धत्वात् स्वेदं ना नाधिगच्छति ॥१३२॥

Therefore, the temperature increases all over the body and this condition is called jwara. [Cause of lack of sweating] A person suffering from taruna jwara (the initial stage of jwara) does not sweat because of the obstruction of the channels of circulation and the displacement of agni.

स्वस्थानात् प्रच्युते चाग्नौ प्रायशस्तरुणेज्वरे। अरुचिश्चाविपाकश्च गुरुत्वमुदरस्य च ॥१३३॥

[Clinical features of Ama Jwara (first stage of jwara)] The ama jwara (first stage of jwara) presents with the following clinical features – 1. Anorexia, indigestion, heaviness in the stomach 2. Feeling of heaviness and accumulation of impurities in cardiac region, drowsiness and laziness

हृदयस्याविशुद्धिश्च तन्द्रा चालस्यमेव च। ज्वरोऽविसर्गी बलवान् दोषाणामप्रवर्तनम् ॥१३४॥
