ग्लानिर्मोहोऽतिसारश्चाप्येतच्छङ्काविषं मतम् । चिकित्सितमिदं तस्य कुर्यादाश्वासयन् बुधः ॥२२२॥
This is known as shanka visha. The wise physician should console the patient and administer the portion of sharkara (sugar candy), saugandhika (Nymphaea alba), draksha (Vitis vinifera), payasya (Ipomea dioitata), madhuka (Glycyrrhiza glabra) and honey.
