वयःस्थापनमायुष्यं मांसशुक्रबलप्रदम्। घृतं तु पित्तेऽभ्यधिके लिह्याद्वातेऽधिके पिबेत् ॥५२॥
If, however, the disease is caused by the excess of vata, then it should be taken as a drink. When this medicated ghee is used (licked) in the form of a linctus, it alleviates pitta.
