यद्रोहिणीयोगफलं तदेव स्वातावषाढासहिते च चन्द्रे । आषाढशुक्ले निखिलं विचिन्त्यं यो अस्मिन्विशेषस्तं अहं प्रवक्ष्ये ॥ २५-०१ ॥
All that has been said with respect to Rohṇī Yoga apply to both Svāti and Āṣādha Yogas; but in the present chapter we shall only state certain special effects connected with Svāti Yoga.
english translation
yadrohiNIyogaphalaM tadeva svAtAvaSADhAsahite ca candre । ASADhazukle nikhilaM vicintyaM yo asminvizeSastaM ahaM pravakSye ॥ 25-01 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptस्वातौ निशांशे प्रथमे अभिवृष्टे सस्यानि सर्वाण्युपयान्ति वृद्धिम् । भागे द्वितीये तिलमुद्गमाषा ग्रैष्मं तृतीये अस्ति न शारदानि ॥ २५-०२ ॥
Dividing both the day and night of the Svāti Yoga day each into three equal parts, if at night there should be a fall of rain during the first division, all the crops will flourish; if during the second division, gingelly, green gram and black gram will thrive and if during the third division, the crops of Grīṣma will thrive and those of Śarad will perish.

svAtau nizAMze prathame abhivRSTe sasyAni sarvANyupayAnti vRddhim । bhAge dvitIye tilamudgamASA graiSmaM tRtIye asti na zAradAni ॥ 25-02 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptवृष्टे अह्निभागे प्रथमे सुवृष्टिस्तद्वद्द्वितीये तु सकीटसर्पा । वृष्टिस्तु मध्यापरभागवृष्टे निश्छिद्रवृष्टिर्द्युनिशं प्रवृष्टे ॥ २५-०३ ॥
If there should be a fall of rain during the first division of the day, there will be abundant rain in winter; the same remark applies to the second and third divisions; but in these two cases worms and serpents will afflict mankind. If there should be a fall of rain throughout the day and night there will be uninterrupted rain for several days in winter.
english translation
vRSTe ahnibhAge prathame suvRSTistadvaddvitIye tu sakITasarpA । vRSTistu madhyAparabhAgavRSTe nizchidravRSTirdyunizaM pravRSTe ॥ 25-03 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptसमं उत्तरेण तारा चित्रायाः कीर्त्यते ह्यपांवत्सः । तस्यासन्ने चन्द्रे स्वातेर्योगः शिवो भवति ॥ २५-०४ ॥
To the due north of Citrā there is a star known as Apāṃvatsa. If the moon should pass near it mankind will be happy.
english translation
samaM uttareNa tArA citrAyAH kIrtyate hyapAMvatsaH । tasyAsanne candre svAteryogaH zivo bhavati ॥ 25-04 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptसप्तम्यां स्वातियोगे यदि पतति हिमं माघमासान्धकारे वायुर्वा चण्डवेगः सजलजलधरो वाअपि गर्जत्यजस्रम् । विद्युन्मालाकुलं वा यदि भवति नभो नष्टचन्द्रार्कतारं विज्ञेया प्रावृडेषा मुदितजनपदा सर्वसस्यैरुपेता ॥ २५-०५ ॥
If there should be a fall of snow on the dark night of the seventh lunar day of the dark half of the month of Māgha (January and February), or if a strong wind should blow or if dripping clouds should roar uninterruptedly or if there should be constant lightning or if the Sun, Moon and Stars should be wholly concealed by the clouds, mankind will be happy and crops will thrive.

saptamyAM svAtiyoge yadi patati himaM mAghamAsAndhakAre vAyurvA caNDavegaH sajalajaladharo vAapi garjatyajasram । vidyunmAlAkulaM vA yadi bhavati nabho naSTacandrArkatAraM vijJeyA prAvRDeSA muditajanapadA sarvasasyairupetA ॥ 25-05 ॥
