लग्नात्षट्त्रिदशायग: सधनधीधर्मेषु चाराच्छशी स्वात्सास्तादिषु साष्टसप्तसु रवे: षट् त्र्यायधीस्थो यमात् । धीत्र्यायाष्टमकण्टकेषु शशिजाज्जीवाद्व्ययायाष्टग: केन्द्रस्थश्च सितात्तु धर्मसुखधीत्र्यायास्पदानङ्गग: ॥ ९-२ ॥
