सार्द्धोऽदितोदितनवांशहतात्समस्ताद्भागोऽष्टयुक्तशतसख्यमुपैतिनाशम् ॥ क्रू रे विलग्नसहिते विधिना त्वनेन सौम्येक्षिते दलमत: प्रलयं प्रयाति ॥ ७-४ ॥
From multiplying the amount of the navamshas which have risen together with (the lagna) divided by 108, one attains the loss by this rule when a malefic is in the lagna. But when a benefic, by this it incurs half dissolution from this.
english translation
sArddho'ditoditanavAMzahatAtsamastAdbhAgo'STayuktazatasakhyamupaitinAzam ॥ krU re vilagnasahite vidhinA tvanena saumyekSite dalamata: pralayaM prayAti ॥ 7-4 ॥
