क्षीणे हिमगौ व्ययगे पापैरुदयाष्टमगै: ॥ केन्द्रेषु शुभाश्च न चेत्क्षिप्रं निधनं प्रवदेत् ॥ ६-४ ॥
If Moon is within 72 degrees of Sun it is "Ksheen". If such a Moon occupies the l2th house and there are malefic planets in the lst and 8th house and the Kendras, the child dies soon after birth.
