चक्रस्य पूर्वापरभागगेषु क्रूरेषु सौम्येषु "च कीटलग्ने ॥ क्षिप्रं विनांशं समुपैति जात: पापैर्विलग्नास्तमयाभितश्च ॥ ६-२ ॥
If the lagna be Cancer or Scorpio and the first six ho.uses are occupied by malefic planets while the benefics are in the other half This is a yoga for early death of the native. If the malefic planets occupy the lagna and the 7th house or if they surround these two houses this also constitutes a yoga for short life.
