गुर्वर्कौ विषमे नरं शशिसितौ वक्रश्च युग्मे स्त्रियं द्व्यङ्गस्था बुधवीक्षणाच्च यमलौ कुर्वन्ति पक्षे स्वके ॥ ४-११ ॥
With the lagna, the Sun, Jupiter, and the Moon strong in the odd signs in male (odd) portions, a male birth should be indicated.
