Brihat Jataka
ग्रन्थस्य यत्प्रचरतोऽस्य विनाशमेति लेख्याद् बहुश्रुतमुखाधिगमक्रमेण। यद्वा मया कुकृतमल्पमिहाकृतं वा कार्य तदत्र विदुषा परिहत्य रागम् ॥ २८-८॥
The destruction of the text which is in circulation should be written in the order of the acquisition of the face of many hearers. Whatever evil I have done or whatever little I have done here, do it here by knowing it, giving up passion.
english translation
granthasya yatpracarato'sya vinAzameti lekhyAd bahuzrutamukhAdhigamakrameNa। yadvA mayA kukRtamalpamihAkRtaM vA kArya tadatra viduSA parihatya rAgam ॥ 28-8॥
